Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL announced, starting at Rs. 71,000 – Pre-orders start11th October

Google has finally announced the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL, the third generation of smartphones in Google’s Pixel line up. The Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL are basically the same under the hood, but the Pixel 3 XL rocks a bigger screen and a bigger battery. Both of these phones also have the same camera so the choice really depends on the design and form factor that attracts you.

Coming to the technicalities, the Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio while the Pixel 3 XL has a larger 6.3-inch display with a notch and the aspect ratio of the display on XL is 19:9 which helps Google accommodate the already huge notch. Both of these phones have a 12.2-megapixel single rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization, Dual Pixel auto-focus, and an LED flash. In the front, both Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL come with dual 8-megapixel cameras and one of these cameras has a 97-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies with more people.

Google’s focus this year has been the camera performance since Pixel smartphones have been known for their amazing cameras that they carry. As per the company, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have once again managed to get a camera setup which will be proclaimed as the best smartphone camera for this year and the next one.

Since both of these phones are pure Google products, they run Android 9 Pie right out of the box and this time Google has added Titan Security to the new Pixel phones that will help you secure the lock screen and secure your data by encryption. Both of these phones are IP68 water and dust resistant and the display and the back of these phones are covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Pixel 3 has a 2915mAh battery while the Pixel 3 XL has a larger 3430mAh battery and both of these phones support fast wired and wireless charging.
