HTC U11+ With Snapdragon 835 And Active Edge Goes Official

HTC has launched its latest premium handset named U11+ in Ceramic Black and Amazing Silver color variants. It has been priced at £699 (60,000 INR) for 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant, while 4GB RAM variant price has not been announced yet.

The U11+ also comes in Translucent Black color which comes with transparent rear panel and this color option will go on sale from November 20 onwards.

The U11+ flaunts a 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD 6 display with the pixel resolution of 2880 x 1440 and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by 2.45 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of inbuilt memory.

U11+ packs a 12 MP UltraPixel 3 auto focus rear shooter with dual LED flash light, PDAF, BSI sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording and OIS. It also has an 8 MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and can shoot video in full HD resolution. There is a fingerprint sensor mounted on its rear.

U11+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box with HTC Sense UI skin on top. It comes with several features like HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition and HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation. It is handled by 3930mAh inbuilt battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support.

This smartphone comes with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa support. It doesn’t come with 3.5mm audio jack, but there is USB Type C port for headphones. This is an IP68 certified handset which makes this a dust and water proof handset. The phone also as Active Edge technology, which means you can sqeeze it to trigge different functions and apps. Other connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS and USB C 3.1 Gen 1.
