
Microsoft has finally launched the much awaited Xbox One, its latest generation gaming console in India. The good part is, it brings along a lot more things than it was expected, or to many who were not aware of. The big launch event happened in Mumbai and the first Xbox One was sold to a Mumbaikar at the event itself.
Xbox One comes with lot many features which makes it above the Xbox 360. There is a new controller, better games, Xbox Live enhancements and more backed up by Microsoft. Xbox One brings the award winning gaming titles, including Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome. In addition, popular third-party blockbusters will be available on Xbox One which can be either downloaded early or bought in disks. These third party titles include : “Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare,” “FIFA 14,” “Battlefield 4” and more. Expect more huge launches as well, with the release of next-generation experiences, such as “Halo-The Master Chief Collection and “Sunset Overdrive” in 2014.
Xbox One along with gaming also brings entertainment content as well. Microsoft has partnered with Bigflix, Gaana and Hungama for a wide genre of Indian movie and music content which signifies how they want it to look from an Indian resident’s perspective. Starting with “Xbox Record That,” you can also record, edit and share your favorite gaming moments like never before through Game DVR and Upload Studio.
Xbox One is now available in India at www.amazon.in/xboxone. It is priced at INR 39,990 for the stand-alone unit while the Xbox One with Kinect is priced at INR 45,990.
