Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, and Galaxy A72 debut with quad-rear cameras

UPDATE: The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 have now been announced in India. The Seoul-based tech giant has skipped the Galaxy A52 5G variant for the Indian market. The Indian units of the Galaxy A52 and A72 are powered by Snapdragon 720G SoC instead of Snapdragon 732G SoC in the global versions. The Galaxy A52 for the 6GB+128GB variant is priced at INR26,499, while the 8GB+128GB variant costs INR27,999. The Galaxy A72 with 8GB+128GB configuration is priced at INR34,999, whereas its 8GB RAM+256GB model will set you back by INR37,999.

After a spate of leaks and rumors, Samsung has finally launched its much-awaited Galaxy A52 and A72 smartphones in an online event on Wednesday. Design-wise, both the smartphones look identical with a quad-rear camera at the back and Infinity O-display which means they sport a cutout at the top-center.

Nevertheless, the two smartphones differ in terms of battery capacity, camera features, and, of course, display size. The Galaxy A52 comes in 4G and 5G variants, while the A72 is offered in only a 4G variant.

Pricing and availability

The Galaxy A52 starts at EUR349 (Approx. INR30,200), while the Galaxy A52 5G starts at EUR429 (Approx. INR37,100). The Galaxy A72, on the other hand, can be had with an initial price of EUR449 (Approx. INR38,800). The smartphones will be available in three color options: Black, Blue, Violet, and White.

Nevertheless, the pricing and availability details of these phones are not revealed yet for the Indian market.
