Telna to launch new eSIM solutions and Cronus a connectivity platform to build and control cellular network

Telna, a NaaS or Network as a Service provider has launched a completely new eSIM and Cronis solution at the MWC 2019. The new launches from the company bring a much stronger and efficient eSIM architecture and it is all for the public eye to see starting 25th Feb 2019 up until 28th Feb 2019 at Telna’s booth at the event.

As per the CEO of Telna, Gregory Gundelfinger, the new eSIM tech is supposed to completely transform the way people use their cellular network. An eSIM is basically an embedded SIM card meaning there’s no physical SIM but the eSIM can be configured to work as a SIM for any network you choose. With the launch of Cronus, Telna has enabled both Consumer based eSIM with IoT/M2M eSIM and all this works with a software-defined network service easily.

If you use an eSIM in your phone, you do not need to have a physical SIM card at all as you can easily configure the eSIM to work with your chosen network and it also makes it very easy for you to switch between networks without swapping the SIM. All you need to do is scan a QR code and the eSIM profile can be changed wirelessly over the air (OTA). This has the potential to work in local as well as international networks.

Telna’s new eSIM tech is compatible with the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, Google Pixel 3. You can also expect support for this service in any upcoming phone which supports eSIM technology. You can head over to Telna’s website and choose a data package of your choice.
